My Role:

Athlete Branding & Social Media Strategy

From June 2024 through February 2025, I partnered with Anna Scott, a 16-year-old soccer player, to support her online presence and recruitment efforts as she pursued Division 1 college soccer opportunities in the U.S. My role focused on developing her personal brand, creating a content strategy tailored to athletes, and positioning her performance highlights for recruiters across platforms.

Working across both her club and high school seasons, I edited and produced a series of highlight videos, carefully curating standout moments that showcased her attacking abilities, technical skill, and game awareness. These clips were strategically shared across platforms like Instagram, Hudl, and recruiting profiles to boost her visibility.

To unify her online presence and simplify access for coaches, I also created an optimized recruitment link — a one-stop destination that connected all her key profiles (Hudl, MyScoutingZone, social media, and more) to highlight her attributes, film, and academic details in a streamlined way.

Supporting this strategy, I developed a custom brand kit to bring cohesion to her content and elevate her professional presentation. I also provided guidance on best practices for content scheduling, platform engagement, and profile maintenance to ensure consistency throughout the competitive season calendar.

While the original plan centered on U.S. college recruitment, Anna ultimately shifted her focus toward playing in England — leading to a natural wrap-up of the project. The result was a polished, athlete-led digital presence and a curated recruitment library to support her evolving career goals and international aspirations.
